Our Farms
The healthiest cut of meat starts at the beginning with the right breed of beef raised in the right enviornment. We start with Parthenais cattle, which are known as "the fat free breed" and cross with Charlais, Simmental, Simbra, and Brangus cattle to produce leaner, more muscular beef cattle. These gentle breeds are calm and docile which promotes tender meat.

All of our cattle are worked with low stress, easy handling routines and they graze in green pastures with plenty of fresh, clean air, pure and clean water and plenty of exercise in wide open pastures and trees for shade.
Our beef are fed with our own grass and high forage feeding system to make the healthiest, and best tasting meat. When supplemental feeding is necessary in winter, our farmers use feeds like corn silage, haylage made from sweet ryegrass and bermuda grass. Also used is peanut vine hay, peanut skins, peanut, cottonseed and soy hulls, alfalfa hay, wheat bran and several other high protein, and high fiber feeds. These feeds are designed to make consistent, steady but slow gains that are specifically designed to eliminate over-feeding that causes too much fat on beef.

The farmers of American Ultra Lean Beef Products cattle are required to have more knowledge and skill sets to produce high quality grasses and healthy soil. Careful pasture management is important to provide this nutritious diet for these animals.
